Major Improvements to Emergency Services in San Juan

San Juan Del Sur got some big improvements to emergency services in October

The new fire station

The new fire department (bomberos) station opened in this month. It houses the fire trucks and ambulance donated in recent years by groups from the United States. With those modern facilities in close proximity to the new hospital it's a big improvement for the community!

Trips to the new hospital are also smoother and quicker. The road paving from the Talanguera / Maderas road was completed this month. It's looks excellent, and the new hospital continues to provide excellent service to locals and expats.

Next up is the the new police station. It's well under way and will complete the full compliment of new emergency services buildings in town. With that building San Juan will have the best facilities per capita of any municipality in the country.

Things are looking promising for the town. We are seeing real estate sales numbers pick up as well. Our office is making more sales than this time two years ago, prior to the political issues. Prices are still low but that increase in the number of sales looks good for long term prospects!
